Another great feature is two removable inserts on the worktop that conceal the catchment bin. One insert is a solid surface and the other has a lattice surface allowing loose soil to spill into the bin. To dispose of the bin contents, just remove the inserts and lift out the bin which holds 19 gallons of gardening debris. The slatted bottom allows for additional storage for a bag of soil, watering can or whatever else you might need. The tabletop sits 32” off the ground which is a perfect height for ergonomic comfort while you work. Made of solid cypress wood, it is naturally resistant to rot and decay from wet weather. Furthermore, the wood is softer than other hardwoods and will dent and scratch with use. However, you will love that feature combined with the natural aging patina that will develop over time - the harder it works and the older it gets, the better it will look!
