Made in the USA by a veteran family business, Martin birdhouses are built to last with solid hardwood and screw joinery. Each story contains 18 individual compartments on each side of the birdhouse. Each floor on each side has a ledge spanning the length of the house, located under the 1.5” entry holes so birds can perch. To clean the birdhouse, simply unfasten screws on each side panel and slide the compartments out for easy access. This is a 50 lb extra large birdhouse that is designed to be freestanding, however it can be easily mounted on a post or pole for a higher elevation.
