Features 3 stair stacked open bottom planter boxes that accommodate plants with different planting depth requirements for root development. The panel depth of each box is 11.75” and when stair stacked as depicted, there are three planting depths of 11.75” on bottom; 23.5” in the middle and 35.25” on the top tier. For safety, the top edge of each box has a rubber seal to protect your hands. The ergonomic elevated design allows you to tend your garden in comfort with reduced stress on your back and legs. The open bottom allows excess moisture to escape and prevent root rot from waterlogging. If you use this on ground soil, it is a good idea to lay a wire mesh screen or landscape fabric on the bottom level to prevent ground pests from entry. Alternatively, you can lay each box side by side for a larger planting area or a combination of a single stack with 2 planters laid side by side.
